All Day Retreats
Each workshop/retreat can be tailored to meet your local needs...or we can work together to design an experience that fits your specific situation. Please contact me to talk about planning a workshop or retreat.
Living the Passion
Live the history, worship, and spirituality of Holy Week through music, poetry, scripture, and art. Especially appropriate for worship planning teams and ministers who wish to engage their congregations more fully in the liturgies of Holy Week and Easter.
Making the Psalms Our Own
Experience the many genres of the Psalms and see how these ancient words connect with our very modern world. Be prepared to listen, reflect, draw, paint, write, or sing as we open up the church’s first hymnal.
Lift Up Your Hearts: The Great Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Eucharistic Prayer has stood at the center of Christian worship for 2,000 years. This retreat helps to uncover the deep spirituality behind all the words in this "long prayer" that can help us live our Christian life more authentically.
Letters to the Churches
Almost every time we gather for worship, Christians hear reading from Paul’s letters. This workshop looks at the Apostle's letters chronologically, giving a better understanding of how they came into being. Originally designed with lectors and proclaimers of the word in mind, this workshop is beneficial for any group seeking a deeper understanding of Paul's epistles.
Salvation History in the Hebrew Scriptures
Most of the time, we just hear snippets of larger stories from the Hebrew Scriptures at worship, causing us to wonder about the "rest of the story." This workshop looks at the larger story of which they are a part.
